Sanctuary for the Wild and Wornout
Lilybee Farm
Our 100-year-old farmhouse cottage creates a sanctuary for guests, while our bee farm gives refuge to local wildlife.
Experience the Relaxation
People come here and stay at the cottage, and they'll get here and just be exhausted. After they're here for a few days, they perk up and rejuvenate. That's the rewarding thing we see with hosting guests– just how peaceful and relaxed people can get here. ~ Kristie & Scotty, Lilybee Farm

Lilybee Farm-Made Honey Products
Lilybee Farm is a place we've let go wild. We don't mow the pastures; everything's left natural. We don't kill weeds, and we don't use pesticides. We perform no-till gardening to keep everything in its natural state. We like the critters to come in. The foxes have their babies at Lilybee Farm every spring. We give wildlife a sanctuary at Lilybee Farm.
Nutritionally, we try to help our bees by not mowing the weeds they love so much, the native plants that provide the diversity in pollen and nectar that helps to keep them healthy. So they can fight all the environmental changes that they face.
We nurture and pamper our bees and take the best care of them. And in return, they give us very good honey !

About Us

Keepers of Lilybee Farm
We have lived in the 4 Corners area for almost 50 years. In 2000, we purchased our farm and turned it into a professional training facility for show horses. We trained registered quarter horses and traveled the country to AQHA shows until 2020. We were ready for a change after training horses for over 35 years. We started beekeeping in 2017 and fell in love. When we retired from showing horses, the bees began multiplying. A new career opened up, and we love it.
We are proud to be part of the 4 Corners Beekeepers Association. We enjoy working with other beekeepers so we can all have healthy bees. If you would like to learn more about beekeeping, please look at the 4 Corners Beekeepers Association website: 4cornersbeekeepers.com.We also enjoy going to the local farmers markets in Bayfield and Durango to sell our honey and honey products and visit with folks.
